Quality is an important component of the Ascribe™ coding service. At least 20% of the responses are reviewed for accuracy and consistency by supervisors on each coded study. In addition, our Director of Quality and Coding Training, is available as a resource and is involved in more complex projects.
The Ascribe Coding Service conducts formal coding audits on a periodic basis or as requested. Coders are provided with detailed feedback and their scores are tracked for developmental purposes.
The training program for The Ascribe™ Coding Team is comprehensive and ongoing. All coders receive instruction in basic principles of Market Research execution as well as intensive training in coding procedures. They are not released for live work until they have completed coding and received positive individualized feedback on 3-5 practice studies. We maintain a separate Training site for Ascribe™ coders to develop their skills. On-going training includes an annual Coding Conference where specific topics are explored in depth. Developing client-specific coding procedure manuals is another aspect of our on-going training.
